Monitor

At our wound care clinic, we monitor every step of the wound healing process. We pay attention to tissue health, in-wound bacterial load, peri-wound hygiene, infection prevention, moisture level, biofilm and nutrition for tissue growth. Non-viable necrotic tissues or slough are kept to minimal to give way to new tissue growth. We try to anticipate problems before they occur to provide you a good chance for wound recovery.

Educating

Throughout your treatment, we will constantly educating you and emphasize the do’s and don’ts to speed up wound closure. We will be also advising you on the nutritional aspects and the vitamins and minerals required to improve wound healing.

Modern Wound Dressings

We use modern wound dressings in the market to suit your wound to create an optimum environment for tissue growth. We will attempt to remove all factors that hinder wound healing. Only when the wound bed is clean and healthy, then the new tissue will start to grow. Surgical debridement is necessary to remove the dead tissues in the wounds and to add on Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT), Oxygen Diffusing Spray, Bacterial Killing Silver, Medical Grade Honey and Collagen, or Biofilm Breaking Wound Cleaning Solution to produce a better outcome. Hence, wound closure will take up shorter time and patients can get back on their feet sooner.
